TECHNICAL TOOL / 01
Dew-point calculator
Calculate the temperature at which the entered air state reaches saturation. The result supports condensation checks, low-temperature reviews, and humidity-control discussions.
CALCULATED RESULTS
- Dew / frost point

METHOD AND BOUNDARY
How this result is calculated
Relative humidity is converted to water-vapour partial pressure. The ASHRAE saturation-pressure equation is then inverted iteratively until the pressure at the calculated temperature matches the entered air state.
What this tool does not decide
A dew point alone does not provide moisture load, equipment capacity, transient surface temperature, leakage, air-change rate, or a safe project margin.

PROJECT REVIEW
A calculator defines a condition. Equipment selection needs the full operating context.
For a project review, include the enclosure or room, temperature and humidity range, target, moisture source, airflow, power, drainage, controls, quantity, and operating cycle.
